Q. What's something that sets CentralNic Reseller apart from other domain reselling services, in your opinion?

Undoubtedly, it’s our ‘Migration and Consolidation Service’. While we have several other intriguing services like Expire Auction and Backordering, in my opinion, this specific service sets us apart from other competitors. It has played a pivotal role in retaining some of our top-performing clients and onboarding major new ones.

We observe a current industry trend where larger companies are expanding exponentially through mergers and acquisitions. However, the subsequent step of consolidation tends to be quite challenging as it requires significant time and resources. This is where we fill the gap, aiding our clients in smoothly consolidating and managing their portfolios through a single platform.

We ease the process for clients, from the planning phase and communication all the way to the final execution of these consolidations, and we do it at just a fraction of the potential cost.

Starting a journey as a domain reseller can be both exciting and challenging. It is important to:

  1. Understand the Domain Industry: Begin by gaining a solid understanding of how the domain industry works. Learn about domain extensions, registration processes, renewal procedures, various related services and the role of registrars and registries.
  2. Market Research: Research the demand for various types of domains. Identify popular and emerging trends, as well as niche markets that could be profitable. Understanding the target audience will help the customers make informed decisions about the domains they acquire.
  3. Choose a Reliable Registrar: Partnering with a reputable domain registrar that offers competitive pricing, a user-friendly interface, and reliable customer support is extremely important. The customers should ensure that the registrar is providing them with the tools they need to manage and sell domains effectively.
